There are lots of opportunities to ride with groups in Detroit!

Detroit Bikes!: Monthly bike tours of Detroit, leisurely pace, free. Recurring

Bike the Blizzard: A 24-hour ride where riders gather pledges to help fund Back Alley Bikes' programs. February 11-12, 2023

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Ride: Annual ride approximately 10 miles in length featuring several historical sites relevant to Dr. King and other activists that were integral to the March for Freedom and the "I Have a Dream" speech delivered at Cobo Center afterward. January 16, 2023

Ride of Silence: An annual, national, slow-paced bicycle ride that takes place the third Wednesday of May to honor those cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. May 20, 2023

Tour D'Eastside (Cycle Into Spring): Ride the east side! Annual fundraiser for the Conner Creek Greenway. June 10, 2023

Critical Mass: Last Friday of every month, 7 pm @ the corner of Warren & Trumbull. Recurring

Sierra Club Green Cruise: Organized bike ride highlighting green alternatives. 42- and 22-mile options available. 2023 Date TBD

J-Cycle: An annual ride celebrating exciting developments happening in and around the city to explore its Jewish history. 2023 Date TBD

Tour de Troit: The state’s largest bike ride, a fundraiser for local greenways. September 16, 2023

Tour de Cure: Raises funds for Diabetes research. 2023 Date TBD

Bike Dearborn Walk & Roll: Weekly ride (and walk) promoted by Healthy Dearborn and hosted at various local businesses. Wednesdays, 6:30 pm. Recurring

People for Palmer Park: 1 hour, 10-15 MPH with changing route. Thursdays, 7 pm. Recurring

Soul Roll: Hosted by D-Town Riders, known for custom bikes and lotsa lights! Saturdays and Mondays, 6 pm. Recurring

Bike to Work: An annual event that encourages commuting to work by bicycle in the Motor City. May 19, 2023

Handlebars for the Homeless: Hosted by Neighborhood Services Organization to raise funds for individuals experiencing homelessness. 2023 Date TBD

UDM Midnight Ride:  An annual 20-25 mile ride that highlights some of Detroit's historic districts. September 15, 2023

Annual Tour of Urban Farms & Gardens:  Each year, Keep Growing Detroit offers an array of bike and bus tours of urban farms and gardens all over the city. 2023 Date TBD
